If you love the beach and nature then Paraparaumu Beach is a one-minute walk from your room - take the beach towels and head to the beach for a swim, or take a walk along our 40kms of coastline.
Within a one-minute walk is the world-class Paraparaumu Beach Golf Courses or you could take a ferry to Kapiti Island for a day visit or to stay overnight.

Kapiti Island Nature Tours
Kapiti Island is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most treasured Nature Reserves, located just 15minutes from Paraparaumu Beach.
Southward Car Museum
The Southward Car Museum is an automobile museum housing a collection of over 400 vehicles, as well as three aircraft, located on Otaihanga Road, Otaihanga, just north of Paraparaumu.
Tuatara Brewery
If you take a gentle meander up the sunny Kapiti Coast to the Tuatara Brewery tasting room, you can yourself in the company of a beer tasting and food pairing experience that will open the eyes of both the craft beer initiated and uninitiated.
Paraparaumu Golf Course
The host of 12 New Zealand Opens, Paraparaumu Beach is considered by many to be the spiritual home of New Zealand golf. The course that tamed the Tiger in 2002, this is links golf at its purest.
Nga Manu Nature Reserve
The Nga Manu Bird Sanctuary’s history started in the 1970’s and over 40 years later is a hidden gem in the North Island. With the goal of preserving and conserving the native flora and fauna, a visit here will span your knowledge and building your connection with nature.
Cantharis Alpacas
Cantharis Alpacas is based in the hills above the Kapiti Coast, conveniently located just 45 kms North of Wellington. They offer private farm walks for you and the alpacas to be entertained. Tour group sizes are limited to a target maximum of 12 guests giving you plenty of time to get to know their alpacas.
Fly By Wire
